  • Sorting hat = Lie and behavioural profiling detector using brain waves.
  • Flying broom / Flying car = Flying car. Moller. Sky car.
  • Voice activation and command. Lots of companies doing it, like Dragon software (now Nuance.com).
  • Holographic video projection.
  • Apparation = remote monitoring / remote streaming. justin.tv, ustream.tv.
  • Flue network = Teleportation.
  • Chatroulette.com
  • Dynamic projection on walls ceiling etc.
  • Universal remote = magic wand.
  • Marauder’s map = Foursquare and gowalla.
  • Electronic ink and moving images on paper.
  • Tablet technology.
  • Potions = advances in non invasive medicine and surgery.
  • Facial recognition by Facebook in uploaded photos.
  • Forget about those fanatics that tell you not to watch it because it contains evil elements. If they do, why are they using such technologies?
