Toastmaster CC Project 5 Title: Australian Experience
  • Applied to the university during special exhibition that did not need registration fee.
  • Got offer. Elated, but then...
  • Slightly nervous. First air travel on own.
  • Reassured by mum that a lot of family friends.
  • Found that environment is so similar to here because of a lot of Asians.
  • So no homesickness. Malaysians, Singaporeans.
  • Malaysian restaurants in and around the campus.
  • Dishes were a lot of helping. Every time had to tell them to make less, but otherwise a lot of weight gained. Show stomach?
  • Clubs and societies. Joined a whole lot of them. Run up and down if they had events same time.
  • Still had to cook.
  • Stupid dancing injury.
  • Lecturers.
  • Failures.
